2 billion yuan! CSIT’S Sodium Battery Project Landed in Ma’anshan, Anhui Province

The total investment in China Sodium Times (Shenzhen) new energy Technology Co., LTD (Hereinafter referred to as CSIT) battery R&D and production project is 2 billion yuan. We will build a 0.5GWh sodium ion battery cell semi-automatic pilot line and a 5GWh Pack production line in the first stage, and then  build a 3WGh sodium ion battery cell automated production line in the second stage.

According to the news released by the Management Committee of Bowang High-tech Zone in Maanshan City, Anhui Province on June 26, recently, the management committee of Bowang High-tech Zone and CSIT  officially signed a contract.

CSIT’s new energy battery research and development and production project with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, the first phase of the construction of 0.5GWh sodium ion cell semi-automatic pilot line and 5GWh Pack production line; Phase II construction of 3WGh sodium ion cell automatic production line; After the project is fully put into operation, the annual revenue will be no less than 1.8 billion yuan, and the tax will be no less than 60 million yuan.

The information shows that CSIT was founded in December 2022, focusing on the development and application of low-cost, high-multiplier, high-safety, low-temperature-resistant, Over-discharge resistant sodium ion battery and materials.
