CSIT won the honorary certificate of"The Third Batch of Sodium-Ion Battery Evaluation Company"
On December 13,2023, China Sodium-ion Times(Shenzhen)New Energy Technology Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as"CSIT") participated in the in the third sodium-ion battery industry chain and standards development forum,which was co-sponsored by China Energy Storage Alliance and China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute. The meeting announced the list of“the third batch of sodium-ion battery evaluation companies", CSIT was fortunate to receive the honorary certificate of the“third batch of sodium-ion battery evaluation company".
China Energy Storage Alliance is China's first non-profit industry association focusing on the field of energy storage. It is committed to promoting the healthy, orderly and sustainable development of the industry by influencing the formulation of government policies and the application and promotion of energy storage technology. The Energy Storage Alliance brings together outstanding energy storage technology manufacturers, new energy industry companies, power systems and scientific research institutes and universities in related fields, covering all participants in the entire energy storage industry chain, with a total of more than 400 domestic and international member units. The China Energy Storage Alliance plays a pivotal and pioneering role in supporting government authorities in researching and formulating development strategies for China's energy storage industry, advocating industrial development models, determining key directions for mid- and long-term industrial development, and integrating industrial forces to promote the establishment of industrial mechanisms.
The sodium-ion battery model we used to participate in the evaluation is NaMR18650-MP1.4. The specification is 18650 cylindrical 1400mAh. The energy density ratio of the battery cell is over 110Wh/kg, the cycle life is more than 2000 times, and the maximum continuous discharge could reach 5C. More importantly,the battery cell could work in an environment of-40°C with over 90% capacity discharge out and the safety performance is much higher than that of lithium-ion batteries. According to the Saixi experiment of China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute Laboratory testing, our batteries meet the corresponding inspection item requirements in T/CNESA 1006-2021 "General Specification for Sodium Ion Batteries".
